Louis Philippe Mirror Reproduction – The Mirror in Interior Design
In the following article, I am suggesting some interior design ideas. Within the following article, the mirror is viewed as something functional. There is also obviously a decorative function to the mirror. However sometimes these points can be forgotten.
The mirror is work:
Suppose there’s a little space e.g. a small-sized bathroom. It is used by the guy for shaving for instance, to wash teeth. However, when a bit is so obviously functional as the mirror, there are strategies to make the mirror more decorative. I am mentioning here that somehow, it’s easier to make something so functional as the mirror in this bathroom setting into something cosmetic. It is possible to aim to have a mirror with a portion of ornamentation or you could decide to have a certain kind of glass for the mirror.
However, when a mirror is so obviously functional, it is possible to add mirrors which are more cosmetic in goal. You can have for instance, mirrors at the foot level. You can have mirrors that only demonstrate the abdomen level.
From the living space, plenty of times the mirror is put over the fireplace and when you consider it, there seems to be something cosmetic about it. It is decorative in the feeling that the mirror seems to be the major decoration. It is a fundamental piece of decorative furniture and even though its function is obvious, decoration seems to be the primary purpose. If the major reason is cosmetic, then it is possible to increase the inside by using other mirrors at a more functional setting and showing up the decorative purpose of this central mirror over the fireplace. Again in this living room setting, it is possible to show up the performance and decorativeness of this mirror object by adding mirrors at foot level along one of the walls.
Another inside design idea would be to set a folding mirror at the corner. . A kind of triptych of mirrors that fold inwards… Another thought would be to have a mirror on one wall continuing in the additional walls; Different effects can be used- e.g. two long rectangular mirrors of equal dimensions at the corners of every wall…or else the mirrors do not need to be the same size in any way. The mirror afterward is function and decoration. What about the mirror as distance as something which creates distance.
The mirror is distance:
This is a well-known purpose of a mirror. When you’ve got a large space e.g. a hallway it is possible to use mirrors in different ways to produce more space and you’ll be able to aim for this impact in tiny spaces like an ordinary living space. Then the mirror can be used in such ways as to create the inside. This can be achieved when there are mirrors along a complete wall. There can be constant mirrors along a wall or just long vertical or horizontal rectangles of mirrors. You can take a mirror, then wallpaper then a mirror again. If the area is rectangular, the corners of this space should have some layout component. The corners of the rooms are in which the partitions ‘overlap’ and inside design effects can be used to highlight this area. The mirrors highlight in some way the fundamental space however, the side corners can also be emphasized through objects e.g. lampshades…
The mirror afterward is distance…and it’s function. . And a great interior design idea would be to examine the mirror at a living area. If the mirror is over the fireplace, ask why it’s there. Can it be for function or decoration or another reason or probably a mixture of all three. In a living space, you may be unwittingly using the mirror as a fundamental decorative thing but you are not bringing out the full effect. This may be on account of the mirror itself or overall bad interior layout planning for your room. In interior design, the purpose of the space is a significant concept. The issue of having a certain purpose for your room appears when you are taking a look at your space and its own distance. The mirror needs to have a particular purpose and this function could be drawn out through how the mirror or mirrors unifies with the colour tones in the space in addition to the general distance and additional furniture of this room.
